There
were many poignant moments to embrace when recollecting my sojourn
living with the Mayas on the Yucatan before journeying to another
Maya village, called home, in the highlands of Guatemala.
On
the threshold, my days at sea with Paulino, Placidor and Simon were
memorable and heartfelt as the village fleet sailed out of Chuburna
Puerta.
On
another trek, sharing in a Shaman's ritual dance led to shape shifting
and intrigue as an earthquake rolled through our village on the
shore of Lake Atitlan; storm clouds on the horizon. |
